Thanks to all my supporters, but the reality of a too-crowded race has forced me to withdraw. There are some "not-so-democrats" runing as democrats in the primary race. It is more important that Sean Mullally, an individual who repesents the real values of our Democratic party, wins this race. If I were to continue as I have been, there is a chance an "elephant in donkey's clothing" could win the primary election. Therefore, I have given my full support to Sean.
Sean Mullally's blog entry on this event can be found at http://networkedblogs.com/5CiCO.
We live in a finite world. We need to take care of the earth as we do our homes. A clean environment makes for good business, better health, and the best lifestyle.
I am committed to focusing my efforts on environmental issues in Lansing. Stopping the dumping of trash caused by low dumping fees, protecting the ground and Lake Michigan waters from being depleted, supporting environmental Green Energy initiatives and environmentally safe alternative energy sources are keys to jobs and a safe environment.
They are critically essential to Muskegon, Michigan, and the United States. Every individual has a responsibility to pass the treasure we call earth onto the next generation, as we maintain a balance between jobs and the environment.
Please support Steve Markel in protecting our environment by donating, volunteering, and voting for Steve Markel for State Representative in the August 3 primary.
